Help and troubleshooting
Try these checks first. For a bug report, include enough detail to reproduce it, but never share passwords or private download URLs.
Installer does not start
- Download the installer again from the official GitLab Releases link on this site.
- Check that the download completed and that Windows has enough free disk space.
- If Windows displays a security prompt, verify the file came from the project's Releases page before choosing whether to run it.
A URL fails or asks you to sign in
Check whether the link is still valid and accessible in your browser. Some links expire, require a logged-in browser session, or are restricted by the source. Protected or unsupported sources may not work through a direct URL.
Pause/resume or file size is unavailable
Resume and size reporting depend on what the source server provides. Some servers do not advertise the total size or do not allow a transfer to resume, so the app may show an estimate or restart the transfer.
Browser integration does not capture a link
Make sure the app and its browser extension are installed and enabled, then restart the browser. Integration may not capture every page or every type of protected media.
Send a bug report
Open a report on the project's GitLab Issues page. Include the app version, Windows version, what you clicked, what you expected, and the exact error text. Do not attach private files, passwords, account details, or signed download links.
