Run InternetDownloadManager_Setup.exe and complete the Windows installer.
Open the app, add a URL or use the supported browser integration flow.
Learn the basic workflow, choose a destination, and understand what the progress details mean.
Choose Add URL in the Windows app and paste a direct file address. When browser integration is installed and enabled, supported links can also be sent from your browser.
For a video page, use the media download flow when the site and available format are supported. Review the detected file name, format and quality before starting.
Before confirming, check the file name, extension, destination folder and estimated size. Some servers do not provide a size until data starts arriving, so an estimate may be unavailable at first.
Use a folder you can find later. The app organizes common downloads into categories such as Video, Documents and Compressed files.
The progress window reports downloaded bytes, percentage, transfer rate and remaining time when the server provides enough information. Pause and resume are supported when the source server allows resuming.
Queues and the scheduler help start groups of downloads together or at a planned time.
Open Help → Check for Updates in the app to check for a newer published version. You can also review the release page linked below before installing an update.
